$50M NMTC Allocation to Expand Homeownership

Smith NMTC is honored to announce that its partner and collaborator, The Housing Partnership Network (HPN), received a $50 million NMTC allocation award in the 2019 round announced on July 15th.

Through this round of funding, we look forward to assisting HPN in creating lasting opportunity and sustainable impact for communities and residents in need. With this $50 million allocation, hundreds of new and rehabbed for-sale affordable homes will be developed, restoring low-income access to the permanent wealth-building opportunity of homeownership and a foundation of the American Dream.

For information on how NMTCs are used to create affordable for-sale homes, check out our models or let us offer you a quick explanation. For more than a decade, we have worked with partners all over the U.S. to bring nearly 4,000 affordable for-sale homes to distressed communities, uplifting low-income residents with transformative, evidence-based effect.

It is an honor to continue this work with the most recent award allocation and to share our congratulations with each recipient.
