With over two decades of experience in public accounting and the insurance industry, LeAnn R. Aloisi brings a wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for detail to her pivotal role in guiding borrowers through the intricate New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) accounting requirements.
Since joining Smith NMTC Associates in 2019, LeAnn has been instrumental in navigating the complex financial landscapes associated with NMTC projects. Her expertise ensures that all accounting aspects are managed, providing clear guidance and support to borrowers as they navigate the financial and regulatory complexities of NMTC transactions.
Before her tenure at Smith NMTC Associates, LeAnn spent over six years in public accounting, where she honed her skills in state and local tax compliance, as well as tax credits and incentives. Her experience in public accounting provided her with a deep understanding of tax regulations and the strategic use of tax credits to maximize benefits for her clients. Following this, she dedicated more than eleven years to the accounting department of Midwest Employers Casualty Company, focusing on tax and compliance.
LeAnn’s professional affiliations underscore her commitment to excellence in her field. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs, where she stays abreast of the latest developments in accounting and finance.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, LeAnn is deeply committed to community service. She actively contributes to the Metro East Humane Society as a board member and volunteer, supporting animal welfare initiatives. LeAnn also serves as the treasurer for Giving Veteran’s Hope, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and support to veterans.
LeAnn earned both her Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
