NANCY J. AZEROLO, DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

 

Nancy J. Azerolo, CPA, joined Smith NMTC Associates, LLC as Director of Finance in August 2010, bringing more than 30 valuable years of experience in public accounting and private industry. Nancy’s role at Smith NMTC utilizes the breadth and depth of her experiences as she works extensively with all varieties of Qualified Active Low Income Community Businesses (QALICBs) to help their accounting personnel understand NMTC transactions and to keep separate books and records, as well as working directly with CDEs and QALICBs in the loan servicing process.

Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Business Management Magna Cum Laude from Maryville University in St. Louis in 1994, and received her CPA certificate in September of 1995. Formerly with Sabino & Co. LLC, a public accounting firm, for 11 years, her experience includes tax and consulting services, payroll and payroll tax compliance, and individual and corporate tax compliance servicing small and mid-sized businesses. Prior to that, Nancy spent 11 years with Roadway Express preparing payroll and revenue reporting, and another 10 years with Holiday Inns, in a variety of positions, including Guest Service Management and Accounting Manager.

Nancy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and of the Missouri Society of CPAs.
